A list of protected native plants can be found @ http://www.tucsonaz.gov/planning/codes/luc/lucweb/Art3div8.html#P120_11696. NPPO plans are required for sites containing protected plants. Preparation of all elements of the Native Plant Preservation Plan and on-site monitoring as required under Sec. 3.8.6.7.D shall be performed by a plant professional, such as: An arborist certified by the International Society of Arboriculture. A landscape architect. A horticulturist, biologist, or botanist with a minimum B.A. or B.S. in an appropriate arid environment natural resource field. 2. Any project that does not have required landscape plans shall have a landscape mitigation plan prepared to show the disposition of PIP, TOS, and required mitigation, as shown in the NPPO summary. |
