Section 412.2.1, UPC 2003 requires the floor to be sloped towards the drain. Note that the "wash out" openings shown on the architectural floor plan cannot be approved without an appeal to the building official. 2. Revise the design of the floor drains to limit the length of the trap arms per Section 1002.2, UPC 2003. 3. The specified urinal appears to be designed for greater than 1.0 gallon per flush. According to ARS Title 45, Chapter 1, Article 12, this is prohibited. Reference Section 402.1, UPC 2003, as amended by the City of Tucson. 4. The manufacturer's minimum required residual (running) pressure for P-1 and P-2 is 35 PSI and 25 PSI for P-3. Revise the water pressure calculations and pipe sizing appropriately.
