Original correction notes follow. 1) 1997 Uniform Administrative Code - section 302.5 Inspection and Observation Program. When special inspection is required by Section 306, the architect or engineer of record shall prepare an inspection program which shall be submitted to the building official for approval prior to issuance of the building permit. The inspection program shall designate the portions of the work to have special inspection, the name or names of the individuals or firms who are to perform the special inspections and indicate the duties of the special inspectors. The special inspector shall be employed by the owner , the engineer or architect of record, or an agent of the owner, but not the contractor or any other person responsible for the work. When structural observation is required by Section 307, the inspection program shall name the individuals or firms who are to perform structural observation and describe the stages of construction at which structural observation is to occur. The inspection program shall include samples of inspection reports and provide time limits for submission of reports. 2) Clarify / justify occupant load and fixture count. 3) Provide code analysis and specify type of construction and allowable square footage. 4) It appears building and covered porch north wall is on property line. Please justify per section 704.11 parapets and section 705. 5) Provide / clarify accessible route from parking lot to restroom and service counter. See ANSI A117.1 2003. 6) Drinking fountain spout heights and water flow ANSI 602.4 and 602.6. 7) Wind exposure B should be used per section 1609.4. 8) Provide lateral analysis including exterior dining enclosure. 9) Provide structural calculations / justification for column design at exterior dining area. 10) Provide structural calculations to justify reinforcement of exterior dining area walls. 11) Clarify placement and structural support for mechanical equipment. 12) Provide reviewed and approved shop drawings for trusses or request a deferred submittal by letter from the Building Official. 13) 1611.2 Ponding instability.
