This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide revised plans and calculations, highlighting any changes, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: All corrections and revisions shall be made on original tracings or finished reproducible set. Return this set and a copy along with a set of the first submission. Pen or pencil corrections on final prints will not be acceptable. To avoid delays, ensure that all corrections have been made, are complete, and have been coordinated on all applicable detail and note sheets. FOUNDATION PLANS: 1. Epoxy connections require special inspections. If used, a special inspection request must be included with the permit application. FLOOR PLANS: 1. Your response #1a "no drywall" while A-9 detail states ½" gypsum wallboard dropped ceiling conflict. Show any ceiling gypsum board as ½"sag resistant or 5/8" when applied to 24" on center framing. It also doesn't indicate how that ceiling is supported. Please indicate ELEVATIONS: 1. Indicate specifications on roof foam insulation that provides R-30 value with 5" of material. My information doesn't indicate what you are going to use. My data indicates an R-value of 5.56 per inch, show me your data. ELECTRICAL PLANS: 1. Please indicate over-current protection for feeder circuit. E 3604.7 2. Your electrical calculations call 120 VA (watts) for water heater yet your description states 220V 40 Amp point of use. Please clarify. 3. Your calculations included 120 watts for baseboard heaters. Please double check those numbers and adjust your load calculations. 4. Also for load calc's two 1500-watt kitchen circuits are required. OUTDOOR LIGHTING CODE 1. Full cut-off fixtures have no emittance above the nadir (fixtures are completely opaque above and to the lowest point of the lamp). Fixtures may be exempt from the total lumen budget if both of the full cut-off FCO style and located under overhangs, OLC 5.1.2. Please provide cut sheets with submittal for all FCO fixtures showing the angle of cutoff, light emissions and fixture wattage. All other fixtures are assumed to be unshielded (non-FCO style).
