08/24/2006 | LINDA BUCZYNSKI | ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Denied | TRANSMIT ORIGINAL DRAWINGS WITH NEXT SUBMITTAL. PLEASE CALL AT 791-5550 X1106 OR EMAIL AT Linda.Buczynski@tucsonaz.gov IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS. 1. Revise the font size used on the drawings to a minimum of 1/8-inch (all upper case). Reference Section 302.3, Uniform Administrative Code, 1997. 2. Electrical Floor Plan has sequence of panels reversed from that on Single Line Diagram and fault calculations. 3. Keynote 5 on Sheet E1.3, which calls for the Panel HPA circuit breakers to be series rated 35K/10K with the upstream fused switch, would not provide adequate fault protection for the AFC at that switch, which is to be installed in SES-A. Besides that, it implies a 3-tiered series rated system. If the intent is to rate the MCB at this panel with its downstream CBs 35K/10K, please clarify this note. 4. Please evaluate Keynotes 1-4 with the same concept as that in Comment #3 above. In all 5. Panel A-6, with AFC of 10,738, is only rated for 10K. If the intent was to attach a keynote to this panel, please clarify. 6. Note 2 by the fault calculations calls for all panels to be fully rated, which contradicts the Keynotes which specify series ratings. Please clarify. 7. Demonstrate compliance with the Tucson Lighting Code, http://www.tucsonaz.gov/dsd/Codes___Ordinances/Tucson_Lighting_Code.pdf. |
