This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide revised plans and calculations, highlighting any changes, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. SCOPE OF REVIEW: The scope of this plan review covers architectural, plumbing, mechanical, energy conservation and electrical. All code references are to the 2003 International Residential Code, 2003 International Energy Conservation Code, and Arizona State amendments to the 2003 Uniform Plumbing Code. All features were checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided. All portions of this project are assumed to meet or will meet other departmental requirements, conditions and concerns before permit approval. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: All corrections and revisions shall be made on original tracings or finished reproducible set. Return this set and a copy along with a set of the first submission. Pen or pencil corrections on final prints will not be acceptable. To avoid delays, ensure that all corrections have been made, are complete, and have been coordinated on all applicable detail and note sheets. SITE PLAN: (NOT REQUIRED FOR MODEL PLANS) 1. Show the water pipe size from the meter to the building. The pipe must be sized for the calculated load, 2003 UPC 610.1. FOUNDATION PLANS: 1. Epoxy connections require special inspections. If used, a special inspection request must be included with the permit application. 2. Special inspection required for fill in excess of 12". FLOOR PLANS 1. Show the location of a minimum 18"X24" access to under floor space that exceeds 30SF, R408.3. 2. Indicate ventilation under floor area. R408.1 &R408.2 STRUCTURAL PLANS: 1. Indicate sole plate connection @ foundation between bedroom wall and porch. 2. Detail numbers don't match locations (section A ) OUTDOOR LIGHTING CODE Note: your calculations show fco fixtures in error. Site is compliant but I wanted you to know that calculations were wrong to avoid future problems.
