1. "Please submit information sufficient to demonstrate that any concentration of methane gas would not be sufficient to require classification according to the requirements of Chapter 5 of the National Electrical Code." THIS COMMENT WAS MADE ON THE FIRST SUBMITTAL. Electrical Plans Examiner has information from Environmental Services and Conestoga-Rovers which satisfy this requirement. Such information will be filed under the Project Activity Number after Comments 2-4 below are satisfied and Electrical is permitted for construction.
2. Electrical work still needs to be coordinated with drawings 002-004. On Sheets 002 and 003, P1 and P2 refer to New Injection Pumps, and P3 refers to a New Booster Pump, respectively. Sheet E-3 refers to these as existing pumps to be replaced. On Sheet 004, Items C, M, and N refer to New 1 ½ HP Booster Pump, Sump Pump Replacement, and 2 HP Injection Pump Replacement, respectively. If the intent is to replace all of the above, please state so on the electrical drawings, and specify conduit, conductor, disconnecting means, ground fault and short circuit protection, and overload protection unless the intent is to reuse some of these as existing components, in which case, state so explicitly on the electrical plans for each component.
3. The bonding jumper on the secondary of the transformers minimum size #8, not #12. Reference NEC 250.30 (A) (1), 250.30 (A) (5), 250.28 (D).
4. A 6AF will not allow a 7.6A motor to start. Reference Sheet E-3, Electrical Keyed Note 3.
