This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide revised plans and calculations, highlighting any changes, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. SCOPE OF REVIEW: The scope of this plan review covers architectural, plumbing, mechanical, model energy and electrical. All code references are to the 2003 International Residential Code, 2003 International Energy Conservation Code, and Arizona State amendments to the 2003 Uniform Plumbing Code. All features were checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided. All portions of this project are assumed to meet or will meet other departmental requirements, conditions and concerns before permit approval. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: All corrections and revisions shall be made on original tracings or finished reproducible set. Return this set and a copy along with a set of the first submission. Pen or pencil corrections on final prints will not be acceptable. To avoid delays, ensure that all corrections have been made, are complete, and have been coordinated on all applicable detail and note sheets. All code references to the International Residential Code shall be changed from 2000 to 2003 with appropriate paragraph references. All dimensions and notes shall be consistent on each plan or elevation. FLOOR PLANS: 1. Show fireplace hearth size and materials, R1003.10 or R1004.2. 2. Identify ceiling heights in all areas on floor plan. STRUCTURAL PLANS: 1. Provide complete roof and floor framing plans. Show size, spacing and span of all framing members, trusses, joists, rafters, beams, glue-lams, lintels, headers, ledgers and blocking. 2. Please indicate length of 3 1/8" x 10 ½ glb and detail (s4 or s6) how it ties-in. 3. Indicate headers for remaining openings. 4. Ledger @ adobe wall requires 3x 5. Justify anchor bolts into adobe per R614.16 . PLUMBING PLANS: 1. The City of Tucson has adopted the 2003 Uniform Plumbing Code with state amendments (ARIZONA STATE PLUMBING CODE). All plans must reference this code. 2 Please indicate drain & vent for new shower. 3. Please indicate vent for laundry. 4. Please change all code references to 2003 UPC. ELECTRICAL PLANS: 1. Note on plan that all branch circuits that supply power to all bedroom outlets shall be protected by arc-fault circuit interrupter, E-3802.11 2. Note additional smoke detector required outside bedroom. R 313.1.2 3. Provide a note indicating only approved outlet boxes shall be used for ceiling fans, E4001.6. 4. circuit #16 incorrectly labeled outlets 5. circuit #5/7 indicates run to oven 6. circuit # 26 should be indicated as GFCI 7.
