1. Provide greater detail on the Outdoor Closet/Shed in which the Inverter is to be mounted. Need such information as location of door/entrance.
2. Installation in closet violates the basic rule in NEC 690.14 (C), which requires the photovoltaic disconnecting means to be located nearest the point of entrance of the system conductors. However, a new Exception in the 2005 Code allows this in the case where such system conductors are contained in metal raceways from the point of penetration of the surface of the building to the first readily accessible disconnecting means. Electrical Plans Examiner is willing to consider this. Please see NEC 690.14 and 690.31 (E) in the 2005 Code.
3. Please provide exact wording and specifications for the plaques required by NEC 690.56 (B) and 230.2 (E).
4. Plan view does not correspond to line diagram.
5. Specify that all equipment, including enclosures and terminations, shall be listed by an Independent Testing Laboratory.
