S4. Drawings shall be completed per approved City of Tucson code, 2003 IBC. Clarify designation/s as the UBC is not Tucson's current code.

Coordinate Site Plan and Floor Plans with Details, properly reference architectural sections and details, void or delete all details, sections and elevations in the set of drawings which are not used on this Project. ie: 1. Keynote 1 on drawing. A-1 appears to be an exterior wall but on drawings it appears to be an interior wall provide appropriate revised detail/wall section. 2. Detail 03/A-2,etc.
S8. Clarify per IBC Chapter 34, by cost estimate on drawing C-1where 20% of the cost of construction is spent to improve accessibility, ie: 1. It appears a second toilet room may be required based on the occupant load exceeding 50, per IBC Section 29, 2. It appears restrooms do not have floor clearance or vertical grab bar per ANSI A117.1 2003ed, 3. Detail accessibility signage, as to location and information, per ANSI A117.1 Section 7, ref 02/A-2, 4. Clarify graphically and by notation the Accessible Route on the Site Plan, provide ramps, landings and detectable warnings, per ANSI Section 4.
S9. Clarify Accessibility of new equipment and fixtures: sales counter, soda fountain, gondolas, etc, ref drawings A-1, A-2, and A-2-1, per ANSI A117.1-2003ed sections 7,8 and 9.
S10. Show on drawings occupant load for each area of floor plan, per IBC Section 10.
S11. Detail and specify roof covering to accomplish a weatherproof roof, ref: B and C/A5, also Exhaust fan mounting detail/M-2 as well as Vent through roof detail/P2, please address these weatherproofing details on the Architectural Drawings.
S12. Provide Structural Calculations and Details, sealed and signed by Arizona Registered Structural Engineer, required to show new roof-mounted and roof -supported equipment will not overload the existing roof structure or how it will be strengthened to support the additional loads, including new hood and shaft, soffits, and monitor.

Provide Structural Calculations and Connection details for the soffit and shaft and hood, to the structure above and fastening for the soffit, hood and shaft, monitor, etc, including fastener type, size spacing/number, ref Details 02,03, and 04/A-4 and for all options proposed,1/M-2 and 05/A-4.
S14. Clarify shaft fire-rating by copy of fire listing on drawings and conforming construction details for the shaft on the drawings.

2. All plans require a minimum of 1/8" type, all uppercase. Reference Section 103.2.3, UPC 2003.
3. Provide a cleanout for the drain piping downstream of the grease trap. Reference Section 707.8, UPC 2003.
4. Provide a vent to protect the grease trap from siphonage and back-pressure. Reference Section 1002.1, UPC 2003.
5. The waste and vent schematic shows the mop sink and an existing floor sink being connected to the existing grease trap. Show the location of the flow control device (and its vent) for each fixture connected to the grease trap on the waste and vent isometric. Floor sinks can't be connected to a grease trap because the flow device must be visible and readily accessible. Reference Section 1014.3, UPC 2003.

2. Clarify the nature of hood EH-1; is it new or existing? . Reference Section 106.3.1, IMC 2003.
3. All UL 710-listed hoods are intended for use with fire extinguishing systems. Is the proposed (existing?) hood equipped with a fire suppression system? Reference Section 106.3.1, IMC 2003.
4. How is make-up air for the hood being supplied? Reference Section 508.1, IMC 2003.
5. The hood schedule on sheet M-2 calls for 600 CFM but the exhaust hood calculations on M-1 call for 700 CFM. Please coordinate the drawings. Reference Section 106.3.1, IMC 2003.
6. Provide details to show that the hood is supported from the building structure in accordance with Section 507.6, IMC 2003.
7. Provide listing information for the proposed exhaust fan, EF-1, that shows that the fan is suitable for the proposed (existing?) hood. Reference Section 106.3.1, IMC 2003.
8. The minimum insulation for ducts located in unconditioned spaces within the building envelope is R-5 (installed). Reference Section 803.2.8, IECC 2003.

Registered Electrical Engineer shall provide full and detailed Electrical Design. Shall not rely on Contractor to verify "integrity of hazardous area and update."

4. Demonstrate compliance with NEC 514.13.
5. Provide a Key to Symbols. Lighting Plan not discernable. Keynote 1 points to lighting fixtures not on Lighting Fixture Schedule, but refers to new lighting. Fixtures A are drawn directly adjacent to Fixtures E.
6. G8 Hot Water Heater takes 50A, 18 KVA according to the Equipment Schedule, but power on a 20-A circuit only 4.5 KVA according to the electrical plans. Please clarify.
7. Provide disconnect for C17A. Reference NEC 422 Part III and NEC 430 Part IX, as applicable.
8. Ckt A-26,28 appears to be 2-pole on the Power Plan. A-28 is a spare on the Panel Schedule.
9. Provide power for B1A.
10. Provide power for B12.
11. C-38 powers rooftop receptacles on Power Plan. This is a spare 3-P on Panel Schedule.
12. C-9,11 powers CU-1 on Power Plan. This is a spare on Panel Schedule.
