2. Clarify the identity of the third S-2 located near the 3-compartment sink on the waste and vent riser diagram. Is it supposed to be FS-1?
3. Clarify the water supply to the hot well. The specialty equipment schedule (A1.0) shows it receiving cold water. If it is connected to the water system, specify the manner of backflow protection to be used. Reference Section 103.2.3, UPC 2003.
4. Clarify the entry on the specialty equipment schedule (sheet A1.0) which calls for 500,000 BTUH of natural gas for the 48" grill hood unit as well as 750,000 BTUH for the round grill. (I assume that the units are BTUH, not MBTUH, as called out on the schedule). Reference Section 103.2.3, UPC 2003.
5. Provide water supply isometrics. Reference Section 103.2.3, UPC 2003.
6. Provide calculations showing how the water supply piping has been sized. Reference Sections 610.4 and 610.5, UPC 2003.
7. If the manufacturer does not incorporate a sediment trap within the gas-fired equipment, provide a sediment trap as close to the equipment as possible. Reference Section 1212.7, UPC 2003.
8. Show how the temperature of the hot water supply to the public lavatories is controlled. Reference Section 414.1, UPC 2003 and Section 804.3, IECC 2003.
9. Revise the specification for the insulation of the hot water piping to comply with the requirements of Section 804.5, IECC 2003.
10. Provide controls for the recirculating hot water system per Section 804.6, IECC 2003.
03/24/2006 ROBERT SHERRY MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Denied 1. Provide listing information to show that the hood for the round grill and the hood for the range/griddle have been tested in accordance with UL 710 and are exempt from the requirements of Sections 507.4, 507.7, and 507.13, IMC2003. (Note that the exhaust flow rate for EF-4 is less than the flow rate for the range/griddle hood as shown on sheet A1.0)
2. Provide a detail showing that the mounting heights for the hoods and grease filters comply with Sections 507.11 and 507.12, IMC 2003.
3. Show how the clearances for the range/griddle hood per Section 507.9, IMC 2003 are being accomplished.
4. Show how the hoods are connected to the building structure and provide information to show that the building structure is not overloaded. Reference Sections 302.1 and 507.6, IMC 2003.

3. There are 2 Ckts M-13,15, one for buffet units, another for receptacles. Please clarify intent.
4. G-7 has electrical load on Lighting Plan. Is a spare on the panel schedule.
5. Please provide power for RCP-1. Reference Sheet P2.1 Plumbing Fixtures.
6. G-1 has electrical load on Lighting Plan. Is a spare on the panel schedule.
7. Phase C appears to be overloaded on Panel G. Appears to total 12,121 VA, not 11991. Also please address 1.25% for largest motor.
8. Please address continuous load and largest motor on Panel M.
9. On IECC calculations please change "2000" to read "2003." Calculations are OK.
10. Clarify rating of Panel G. It is 200A on the Line Diagram, and 100A on the Panel Schedule.
11. Panel G feeder #2 has ampacity of 115A, not protected by the 200A CB.
12. Please indicate the locations of Panels G and M on the plans.
