1) Since restroom facilities are being completely demolished and built new both facilities must be fully compliant with ANSI A117.1 2003. Unisex facility does not provide compliance for Womens facility. Each restroom needs to be compliant. Provide building plan clarifying occupant load and fixture count per Chapt. 29, table 2902.1.
2) Dimension / locate horizontal grab bar.

Lavatory faucets shall be equipped with a mechanism that causes the faucet to close automatically after delivering no more than one-fourth gallon of water or shall be designed to deliver no more than an average of one-half gallon of water per minute at a pressure of eighty PSI. 2) The third paragraph of Section 608.3, UPC 2003 requires the installation of a listed expansion tank or other device designed for thermal expansion control whenever the building water supply is prevented from expanding into the city water system due to a check valve or similar device. Revise the detail of the water heater installation to include the provision for thermal expansion control. Reference Section 608.3, UPC 2003.
