The following items reflect original comments, which remain unaddressed and require a written response indicating any action to be taken. In order to facilitate a shorter back-check time, all corrections and revisions shall be made on the original plans and two new COMPLETE sets of prints shall be returned along with all redline prints. To avoid delays, ensure that all corrections have been made, are complete, and have been coordinated on all applicable detail and note sheets as well as highlighting all changes with appropriate revision number, revision date, and “cloud bubbles”. Pen or pencil corrections on final prints will not be acceptable. Please return comment drawings with your re-submittal. Sprinklered Alarms SFR N/A VB 1344 NO SMOKE GENERAL COMMENTS: This project has been reviewed for conformance with the 2003 IRC, 1997 UAC, 2003 IMC, 2003 IECC, 2002 NEC codes with local modifications, and the 2003 UPC. Any revisions to this plan will require an additional review and approval by Willdan. ARCHITECTURAL COMMENTS: Sheet 3 Show calculation of attic ventilation area in compliance with R806.2. 2003 IRC. Please note location of all vents needed to comply or show compliance with one of the Non-vented Roof Details 1-8 Dated 7/18-19/2001 as permitted by Sec. 104.11 alternate methods. Reference City of Tucson submittal requirement. STRUCTURAL COMMENTS: Sheets 7 and 6 Please provide information indicating where to reference the details with the plans. Reference 106.1.1. 2003 IRC. PLUMBING COMMENTS: Sheet 8 City of Tucson will accept the 2003 Uniform Plumbing Code. All plans must reference the 2003 in its entirety. Please comply and revise plans accordingly. On the waterline, please provide the total fixture unit demand use table 6-4 from UPC 2003,and provide maximum developed length. Reference City of Tucson submittal requirements. On the waterline, Please provide the pressure range use table 6-5 from UPC 2003. Reference City of Tucson submittal requirements. Provide the total drainage fixture unit demand use table 7-3 from UPC 2003. Reference City of Tucson submittal requirements. For the gas line, please provide the length of the line to each appliance, BTU demand of each appliance, size of each branch, total demand, and total developed length from meter to the most remote appliance on the system in accordance with use table 12-7 from UPC 2003. Reference City of Tucson submittal requirements. MECHANICAL COMMENTS: Plans reviewed and accepted. ELECTRICAL COMMENTS: Sheet 9 Note that all light fixtures in clothes closets shall be installed. Reference section E3903.11. 2003 IRC. ENERGY CODE COMMENTS: Please note on plans that all supply and return air ducts and plenums shall be insulated with a minimum of R-5 insulation when located in unconditioned spaces and with a minimum of R-8 insulation when located outside the building.
