Revision to grading plans are required per meeting held March 21, 2007 to discuss conditions to alleviate Stop Work Order. Development Services Department Engineering Division requires that stormwater controls be properly installed and inspected prior to Stop Work Order being removed. A resubmittal of the grading plans is required prior to approval and issuance of grading permit. The revised grading plan was submitted 24APR07 and is approvable. GRADING PERMIT CONDITIONS: The following 14 conditions will be applied to the grading permit T06BU00766 once issued: 1) A copy of the Grading Plan, Grading Permit, and any Geotechnical Reports shall be kept at the site at all times, until final grading approval. A copy of the ADEQ AZPDES General Permit must be a part of the SWPPP at the site. 2) Call for SWPPP inspection and PRE-CONSTRUCTION MEETINGS. For DSD Engineering Inspections, call IVR (740-6970), or schedule with a Customer Service Representative at the Development Services Department, or contact DSD Engineering at 791-5550 extension 2101, or schedule inspections online at: HTTP://WWW.CI.TUCSON.AZ.US/DSD/ONLINE_SERVICES/ONLINE_PERMITS/ONLINE_PERMITS.HTML 3) If grading construction is expected to last longer than the expiration date of the grading permit, contact DSD to renew/extend the Grading Permit. If Final Grading Inspection has not been completed before the Grading Permit expires, and the permit has not been renewed, additional fees and reviews may be required. 4) Contact Permits and Codes (791-5100) for any questions regarding any right-of-way permit requirements. 5) There shall be NO disturbance outside of the disturbance/grading limits. 6) Truncated domes are required for any access ramps per ADAAG. This is an update to COT standard detail 207. 7) Operator shall report to ADEQ any noncompliance (including spills) which may endanger human health or the environment. The operator shall orally notify the office listed below within 24 hours: Arizona Department of Environmental Quality, 1110 W. Washington, 5th floor (5515B-1), Phoenix, AZ 85007, Office: 602-771-4466; Fax 602-771-4505 8) Any revision to the Grading Plan may require a re-submittal of a revised grading plan for review. Contact DSD Engineering at 791-5550 to discuss changes in grading design. 9) ALL improvements (including any permanent erosion controls) shall be completed for final approval by COT DSD Engineering. 10) AS-BUILTS AND LETTERS OF COMPLETION for erosion protection, basins, and overall project are required. The permitee shall notify the DSD when the grading operation is ready for final grading inspection. Final grading approval shall not be given until all work, including installation of all drainage facilities and their permanent protective devices, and all erosion control measures have been completed in accordance with the approved grading plan and grading permit, and any required reports have been submitted. 11) Recommendations for the addressing the closure of the open, underground water encachements and wells shall be followed according to Geotechnical Report for this project: 63055036 and any addenda including later dated January 13, 2006. 12) Call for special DSD inspection for erosion hazard setback erosion protection placement PRIOR to backfilling. 13) Submit a sealed document from the Geotechnical Engineer regarding backfill COMPACTION after the reno mattress installation. 14) Grading for DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE SHALL BE ELEVATED to direct stormwater to basin and prevent drainage entering or draining through the dumpster enclosure.
