The Drainage Report is reviewed for improvements in the public rights of way (ROW). The following review comments need to be addressed in the next submittal. The attached comments are based on the information provided and is not meant as an all inclusive list of items that must be addressed but a check for general conformance to City Standards. The Engineer of Record (The Engineer preparing and certifying the plans, in this case Stantec Consulting) is responsible for the plans/design meeting all applicable Standards, Codes, Ordinances, and for any issues errors and/or omissions. 1. Submit an approved (by DSD) revised drainage report analyzing how the proposed improvements in the ROW will impact existing drainage. How will the placement of vertical curb effect flows? Provide a hydrological analysis of the storm drains across driveway entrances and sidewalk scuppers. 2. Sheet 2: Detail 5/2: Indicate the minimum pavement and aggregate base thickness per a geotechnical report. Existing pavement section must be matched, if existing pavement section is greater. 3. Sheet 3, Detail 4/3: Indicate a minimum of 2' (2% slope) from the edge of the pedestrian path and the top of the slope. 4. Sheet 6, Keynote 39: Provide Curb Access Ramp detail on plan set and indicate the use of truncated domes as the detectable warning device. Please see attached detail. 5. Key note 42: Indicate the use of truncated domes as the detectable warning device. |
