The Engineering - Permits and Codes Section has reviewed the paving and does not recommend approval of the PIA Plan at this time. The following review comments need to be addressed in the next submittal.

1. Include on this plan set all of the offsite public improvements for Sierra Pantano.

2. Sheet 1: Provide recordation information (Book and Page) on cover sheet.

3. Sheet 1: Provide administrative address on cover sheet.

4. Sheet 2: (Detail A/2) Provide all details for the proposed catch basin at Camino Ensanada del Pantanowas. Provide a plan view and a cross section (parallel to roadway) of the catch basin. Additionally, bearing bars of grate must be placed parallel to the roadway.

5. Sheet 6: (Detail A/6) Indicate proposed material for keynote 1 and 2.

6. Sheet 6: Correct keynote for the proposed survey monument at Sta. 10+00 (Camino Sierra Pantano).

7. Sheet 8: Indicate pavement thickness of the proposed pavement widening on cross sections details C/8 and D/8. Do not refer to geotechnical report.

8. Sheet 8: (Detail E/8) Modify thickened edge as indicated on redlines.

9. Sheet 8: Why is detail F/8 shown on this plan set.

10. Sheet 8: (Detail G/8) Indicate the ramp width and maximum running slopes or provide a cross section indicating widths and slopes.

11. Sheet 8: Change title block to Permit and Codes title block (Sheet 2).

1. Sheet 6 of 8 - Station 5+41.22 - This station has a keynote number 7 with it. The leader appears to point to an existing survey monument. Please address this prior to the final plans.

12/05/2005 DALE KELCH DOT TRAFFIC REVIEW Denied Traffic Engineering REJECTS this PIA submittal:

1. Unless this had been previously approved, all new sidewalks are to be 5' wide vice the 4' as called out in these plans. The corresponding shy space is reduced to 2'. See DS 3-01.0 fig 2 for guidance. Section F/8 still shows 4' sidewalk.

2. There are problems with the new sign and the existing sign to be relocated in the Escalante ROW adjacent to lot 1. The problems are delineated on the redlines. Said signs show on plan sheets 3, 6.
