1. This permit is for the purpose of a home remodel within a Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA) Zone AE as mapped on the Federal Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) Panel No. 04019C 2227K, effective 2/8/99.

2. The existing structure is impacted by the regulatory floodplain. For purposes of this permit, the following elevation requirements apply:

Base Flood Elevation (BFE) = 2400.2 feet per the National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD '29)
Regulatory Flood Elevation (RFE) = 2401.2 feet per the National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD '29)

Lowest finished floor must be elevated to the Regulatory Flood Elevation (RFE) at a minimum. All service utilities, machinery, equipment (i.e. furnaces, water heaters, heat pumps, air conditioners and their associated equipment, including all electrical equipment), must also be elevated to the Regulatory Flood Elevation (RFE) at a minimum.

3. An Elevation Certificate completed and certified by an Arizona Registered Land Surveyor or Arizona Registered Professional Civil Engineer must be returned to Development Services Department, Engineering Division, on the first floor of the County/City Public Works Building at 201 N. Stone Avenue prior to the final inspection.

4. Any additional improvements, including block walls, fences or pools, will require a separate Floodplain Use Permit prior to construction.
