FLOODPLAIN USE PERMIT IS DENIED

RESUBMITTAL REQUIRED: SITE PLAN, DRAINAGE REPORT, FLOODPLAIN USE PERMIT APPLICATION

SUBMIT SITE PLAN WITH SITE PLAN APPLICATION

1. Add a note to the site plan referencing the FIRM panel number and the flood hazard zone. Indicate the parcel is entirely in a FEMA flood hazard area, Zone AE.

2. Indicate the finish floor elevation (FFE) and the water surface elevation (WSE) on the site plan.

3. Add a note to the site plan indicating the datum used for the FFE and the WSE found in the drainage report.

4. Please note a condition of this permit contains a requirement that the applicant, or the applicant's authorized representative, complete a FEMA Elevation Certificate and is returned to DSD Engineering prior to approval of special inspection.

DRAINAGE REPORT COMMENTS

1. Indicate the datum used for the FFE and the WSE. If two different datums are used show the conversions. The same datum must be used for the FFE and the WSE.

2. It is acknowledged that the FIRM map has been provided in the drainage report. For report clarity formally indicate the WSE for the project area, include the datum (see above comment).
