It is acknowledged that per Article I, Section 26-2 of the Floodplain and Erosion Hazard Area Regulations state the garage does not require an elevated floor. However no development, storage of materials or equipment, or other uses shall be permitted which, acting alone or in combination with existing or future uses, create a danger or hazard to life or property. It does not appear that electrical or heating equipment is proposed for this structure per the building plans. Indicate with a general note on the building plans and the plot plan that electrical and heating equipment is not proposed for this structure. 2. Storage and/or processing of materials that are buoyant, flammable, explosive or that could be injurious to human, animal or plant life at the time of flooding must be prohibited. Add a note indicating compliance with 26-5.2.(13). |
