IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS.

1. Basis of load calculation appears to have been performed incorrectly. According to NEC 550.18 (A) (5), the 35% demand factor (after 3 KVA subtraction) may only be applied to the lighting and small appliance loads, not the total for the mobile home. NEC 550.18 (B) (3) requires that 25% of the largest motor in (2) be added. Total would be 17.7 KVA if the branch circuit loads listed on the plans are correct.
2. Total Service Load Summary would be (0.22) (107) (17.7) + 1.9 + 2.0 + 6.0 + 13.0 = 439.6 KVA, or 1832A, not 1185A.
3. Please verify that this is actually a 1200A, single-phase, 120/240V service, whether TEP would/has provided this size of single phase service. If this is the case, perhaps TEP could assist with some demand readings which would help with Item #2 above.
4. Provide pole height.
5. Provide pole and foundation detail. If the new poles are to exceed 20' in height, structural calculations shall also be submitted, and details and calculations shall be prepared and sealed by a Structural Engineer registered in the State of Arizona.
