Linhart Petersen Powers Associates (LP2A) has completed a review of the following documents on behalf of the Pima County:


1. Plans: Two (2) sets of plans (10 sheets) with cover not dated or signed.

2. Truss Calculations: None provided.

Structural Calculations: None provided.

Energy Compliance: Two (2) sets of Title 24 compliance.


These documents were reviewed only for their conformance to the provisions of the 2003 International Building Codes (i.e., State of Arizona and Tucson amended 2003 IRC, 2003 IMC, 2002 NEC and 2003 IPC). Our comments follow on the attached list.

Please submit an itemized response letter and required number of complete and revised documents with all revisions clouded.

ARCHITECTURAL COMMENTS:

Section bubbles A/4 and B/4 noted on floor plan refer to Sheet 4 but the sections are located in Sheet 5. Please correct section bubbles with correct sheet number. Sheet 2, IRC 106

MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL AND PLUMBING COMMENTS:

1. Please provide on exhaust fan in the hall bath and the master bath. Sheet 8, IRC 1506.

Provide an outdoor vent for the dryer size and location. Sheet 8, IRC 2439

3. Provide an outdoor receptacle at the rear of the house. Sheet 9, IRC 3801.7

4. Receptacle mounted below the countertop in accordance with E3801.4.5X shall not be located where the counter top extends more than 6 inches beyond it’s support base. Sheet 9, IRC 3801.4.5x

5. Several lights (Master Bedroom and Bath) and the island receptacles are noted on the panel diagram. Please clarify. Sheet 9, IRC 106
