The following items reflect original comments, which remain unaddressed and require a written response indicating any action to be taken. In order to facilitate a shorter back-check time, all corrections and revisions shall be made on the original plans and two new COMPLETE sets of prints shall be returned along with all redline prints. To avoid delays, ensure that all corrections have been made, are complete, and have been coordinated on all applicable detail and note sheets as well as highlighting all changes with appropriate revision number, revision date, and “cloud bubbles”. Pen or pencil corrections on final prints will not be acceptable. Please return comment drawings with your re-submittal. Sprinklered Alarms R-3 Patio N/A IIIB 1717 240 No Yes GENERAL COMMENTS: This project has been reviewed for conformance with the 2003 IRC, 1997 UAC, 2000 IMC, 2000 IECC, 2002 NEC codes with local modifications, and the 1994 UPC with State of Arizona Amendments. Any revisions to this plan will require an additional review and approval by Willdan. ARCHITECTURAL COMMENTS: Sheet 2 There is a misprint on the code section number referenced. The correct code section number is R308.4 item #5. Reference section R106.1.1 IRC. STRUCTURAL COMMENTS: Items submitted reviewed and accepted PLUMBING COMMENTS: Sheet 2 Annotate on the plans that the T & P relief valve discharge pipe will terminate no more than 24” and no less than 6” above the floor or grade. Reference section 608.5 UPC. In note #16 please remove the reference to the 2003 IRC and replace with the reference from the 94 UPC. If the 2003 IRC wishes to be utilized, an appeal to the Building Official will need to be applied for. Unless the appeal is granted, all references must be to the 94 UPC. If granted all references are to be to the 2003 IRC plumbing section. The correct UPC code section number is 410.4 UPC. Reference the City of Tucson adopted codes. Show on the plans that the vent for the water closet will be the same size and undiminished for the entire length. Reference section 905.4 UPC. MECHANICAL COMMENTS: Sheet 7 Annotate on the plans the developed lengths to each of the gas burning appliances and list the CFH to each appliance. Reference the City of Tucson submittal requirements. ELECTRICAL COMMENTS: Sheet 6 Please provide cut sheets for the exterior light fixtures and coordinate them with the calculations noted on the plans. The calculations shall be based on the maximum wattage that the fixture is listed for which will provide the maximum lumens per fixture. Reference the City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code.
