05/01/2006 ANDREW CONNOR LANDSCAPE REVIEW Denied 1. Within a vehicular use area, one (1) canopy tree is required for each 10 motor vehicle parking spaces and every parking space shall be located within forty (40) feet of the trunk of a canopy tree (as measured from the center of the tree trunk) per LUC 3.7.2.3.A.1. Canopy Tree: A woody plant, other than a palm tree, with a mature crown diameter of at least fifteen (15) feet and having a trunk that, at maturity, is kept clear of leaves and branches at least six (6) feet above grade. Palms can not be considered canopy trees, revise landscape plan to include additional canopy trees within vehicle use area to the north.

05/12/2006 PETER MCLAUGHLIN ZONING REVIEW Denied 1) Revise zoning on sheet A0.2 to read I-1 rather than PAD-1.
DS 2-02.2.1.A.28

2) The minimum required text size for microfilming of plans is 12 point (0.12 inches). Revise all lettering and dimensions on sheet A0.2 that does not meet this minimum standard. Also, there are numerous places on this sheet where the text is not clear due to strikeover of characters and shading of driveway area. Revise so that all lettering can be read.

3) Revise bicycle parking calculation on sheet A0.2 to be correct and consistent with the calculation on sheet C1.1. As stated on sheet C1.1, with 141 vehicle parking spaces provided, a total of 11 bike parking spaces are required. Revise calculation.
LUC 3.3.3.5
DS 2-02.2.2.A.4

4) Directional signage is required for bicycle parking which is not directly visible from the main entrance to the site. Label the location of signage on the plan.
DS 2-09.5.1

5) The configuration of handicapped parking is not the same on the landscape plan as it is on all other plans. Revise plans to be consistent.
