PLEASE CALL AT 791-5550 X1106 OR EMAIL AT Linda.Buczynski@tucsonaz.gov IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS. 1. Circuit L-25 has been used the sign, but this circuit is a spare on the panel schedule. 2. Please include a load of 200 VA /LF for the Show Windows on Ckt L-1, if this is the intent. Reference NEC 220.12 (A). 3. With 400W MH lighting per the Light Fixture Schedule, Ckts L-2, L-4, and L-6 should be counted as 1600 VA each. Verify that all lighting and sign electrical loads are counted at 1.25% in the Load Summary, and carry the calculations through the transformer. 4. It appears that the load on Panel L is 33.1 KVA, which may overload the 30 KVA X'FMR. This considers the track lighting, and other lighting at 1.25%. Does not include sign. See Comment #1 above. 5. Provide load calculations to demonstrate that service and any distribution panels are not overloaded. 6. Electrical Specifications Fire Alarm System Notes are not necessary, because the the system is covered on Sheet E-1, and such notes are furthermore incorrect because they imply that the Contractor may design such a system, which would not be permitted in this jurisdiction. Note that Fire has approved this set for construction. 7. Electrical Specifications Method and Materials Note 17 refers to NEC 250-72. No such section on the 2002 NEC. 8. Electrical provides power for a Water Heater. Plans do not include Plumbing. Please coordinate with other disciplines and clarify. |
