ALL FEATURES WERE CHECKED ONLY TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY THE SUBMITTALS PROVIDED. ALL PORTIONS OF THIS PROJECT ARE ASSUMED TO MEET OR WILL MEET OTHER DEPARTMENTAL REQUIREMENTS, CONDITIONS AND CONCERNS BEFORE PERMIT APPROVAL. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. ALL PLANS SHALL BE LEGIBLE AND A SCALE NO SMALLER THAN ¼ INCH = 1-FOOT SHALL BE USED FOR ALL FLOOR PLANS, FRAMING PLANS AND ELEVATIONS. DETAILS &CROSS SECTIONS AT A MINIMUM 3/8 INCH = 1-FOOT SCALE. 2. ALL CORRECTIONS AND REVISIONS SHALL BE MADE ON THE ORIGINAL TRACINGS AND TWO NEW SETS OF PRINTS OR (1) SEPIA & (1) BLUE LINE SHALL BE RETURNED ALONG WITH ALL REDLINE PRINTS. 3. PEN OR PENCIL CORRECTIONS ON FINAL PRINTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTABLE. TO AVOID DELAYS ENSURE ALL CORRECTIONS HAVE BEEN MADE, ARE COMPLETE AND HAVE BEEN COORDINATED ON ALL APPLICABLE DETAILS AND NOTES. SITE PLAN: 1. PLEASE PUT A NOTE ON THE SITE PLAN TO REFLECT YOUR RESPONSE THAT THE WATER, GAS AND SEWER LINES ARE TO BE DISCONNECTED TO THE STUDIO.. FOUNDATION PLAN: 1. PROVIDE A LANDING, ON THE FOUNDATION PLAN, AT THE EXTERIOR DOOR OF THE WORK ROOM. SEE R311.4.3. 2. THE LANDING AT THE BOTTOM OF THE EXTERIOR STAIRWAY IS REQUIRED TO BE 36" IN THE DIRECTION OF TRAVEL. 3. PLEASE REINFORCE THE FOUNDATION PIERS FOR THE EXTERIOR STAIRS. JUSTIFY THE 12" DIAMETER. FLOOR PLANS: 1. WHAT ARE THE ROOMS USED FOR? MAIN ROOM, LOFT, WORK ROOM, WHAT SORT OF CLOSETS. 2. LOCATE AND IDENTIFY SHEAR WALL TYPES AND LOCATIONS. PROVIDE NAILING SCHEDULE. STRUCTURAL PLANS: 1. SPECIFY DESIGN CRITERIA ON PLANS. VALUES FOR FLOOR DEAD LOAD AND LIVE LOAD, ROOF DEAD LOAD AND LIVE LOAD. 2. SPECIFY LUMBER GRADE AND SPECIES. PERHAPS THE HISTORICAL SOCIETY CAN HELP. ELEVATIONS: 1. JUSTIFY THE 190sf USED IN THE VENTILATION CALCULATIONS. THE RESULTING AREA IS THE NET AREA. WILL THE GABLE VENT PROVIDE THE REQUIRED NET AREA AFTER DEDUCTING THE SLATS? SECTIONS - DETAILS - MISC. NOTES: 1. 2 / SHEET2 ; THE JOIST HANGERS SPECIFIED FOR THE 3X STRINGERS SHOULD BE 2 ½" WIDE INSTEAD OF 3" WIDE. 2. DETAIL 2 / SHEET2 CONFLICTS WITH THE STAIR DETAIL ON PAGE 1. 3.
