S2. Provide current designations for roof joists TJI PRO 250, ref drawing #S2 and cal sheet #18/18, have been discontinued check with TrussJoist for replacement.
S3. Revise Detail C/S2;
1. Bottom chord of roof joists is microlam and Simpson H 2.5 nailing concentration exceeds allowable for microlam, this connection needs to be revised for uplift forces.
2. Provide a lateral connection capable of supporting a minimum load of 280plf, per IBC Section 1604.8.2.3.
3. Detail outrigger nailing to conform with joist manufacturers requirements.
4. Show shear nailing at roof sheathing to blocking and blocking to plate.
S4. Provide revised designation for Simpson PA23 purlin anchor as this anchor designation is nonlonger current PAI23 maybe the updated type, see Simpson Catalog, verify installation conforms to Manufacturers requirements.
S5. Revise Detail F/S2 to show :
1. How a lateral connection capable of supporting a minimum load of 280plf, per IBC Section 1604.8.2.3 is accomplished.
2. Explain outrigger connection to joist for cantilever and provide calculation.
S6. Clarify shear transfer from low roof to beam, show shear nailing for continuous shear path.
S7. Provide structural analysis for lintels addressing actual lintels specified, including checks for deflection ie : deflection = approximately L/600 for masonry lintels, shear, bearing and clarify welding of vertical bars to lintel, ref calc's pages #12 - 15, drawings S1 and S2.
S8. Clarify beam design page 16/18 conforms to 2003 IBC vs 2000 IBC listed on this calculation sheet.
S9. Show at detail 1/S-1, extension of stair handrails of one tread width, at bottom of stair, at slope of rail, beyond the bottom tread nosing, per Chapter 11 of 2003 IBC and ANSI A117.1-2003ed Section 505.10.3, also provide intermediate rails per IBC Section 1009.
S10. Detail cooler framing and penetration at roof, including flashing, etc.
S11. Clarify how accessibilty of existing, per IBC Chapter 11 and 34 and ANSI A117.1- 2003ed is complied with.
S12. Specify door hardware to show conformance with IBC Section 11, 34 and ANSI A117.1.
S13. Designate on drawings fire-rated walls, cite listings or item numbers for walls to justify fire-ratings and provide a copy of the listing on the drawings for new and existing.
S14. Clarify fire-rated opening requirements on drawings, ref IBC Chapter 7.
S15. Clarify separation per IBC Chapter 3.
S16. Complete Code Review Checklist, including separation, allowable area calculation etc.
S17. Explain what is stored to allow proper code classification.
