Coordinating with Mechanical, it appears that the first unit on the left should be HP D8-A. Note that D8-A appears on the Mechanical Equipment Schedule, Sheet M-2, but not on the A/C Equipment Schedule, Sheet E-4. 3. HP D8-A is shown on Bldg D. No such HP this project. This comment was made on the first submittal, however if one inspects the Mechanical, it is on there. This relates to Comment #9 of the first submittal. 4. The disconnect on Building A appears to violate the requirements of NEC 225.30. See Comment #9 below. 5. New Panel AC Building B appears to violate the requirements of NEC 225.30. See Comment #9 below. 6. The disconnect on Building D appears to violate the requirements of NEC 225.30. See Comment #9 below. 7. The disconnect on Building E appears to violate the requirements of NEC 225.30. See Comment #9 below. 8. The note added on Sheet E-3 does not document to this jurisdiction that the facility is under "…single management where documented safe switching procedures are established and maintained for disconnection." Reference NEC 225.30 (E). A hospital or university complex would fit this description in our view. If you care to evoke this Code Section this will be a matter which we should discuss. |
