1) It appears actual sq. footage of building equals 4000-sq. ft. Please clarify and adjust occupant load accordingly.
2) Please show circular clear floor space in each handicap restroom see ANSI A117.1 2003 section 304.3.1. Door swing in clear floor space, see section 603.2.3 exception 2. Provide one accessible restroom per sex minimum.
3) Clarify accessibility from parking into building. Show striped path from parking to sidewalk. Provide ramp at grade change and aceesible route to entry and then to restroom facilities. It appears it would be better to have handicap parking located near the new entry to help eliminate the danger of being hit by vehicles just entering the site.
4) Entry joists need to be specified on sht. S-3 Roof Framing Plan.
5) Clarify justification for footings specified on drawings S-2.
6) Specify footing sht. S-2 at entry pier per structural calculations page 15.
7) Justify column members at entry with structural calculations.
8) Clarify roof framing can carry additional load of mechanical equipment.
