2. Street landscape borders shall be a minimum of ten (10) feet wide as measured from the street property line. On streets designated as Major Streets and Routes (MS&R), the street landscape border is measured from the MS&R right-of-way line as determined by Sec. 2.8.3.4. Dimension landscapes borders and show property lines on landscape plan identical to site plan.

3. Show how landscape borders will comply with minimum requirements per LUC 3.7.2.4. Fifty (50) percent or more of the area of the street landscape border must be covered with shrubs or vegetative ground cover 20% shall be 5 gal size or greater, and one canopy tree must be provided for every thirty-three (33) linear feet of the street landscape borders.

4. Provide a 30" continuous screen within landscape border to screen vehicle use areas per LUC 3.7.2-I.

5. Walls, fences, or other screening must be placed behind the landscape border. Relocate existing wall along 1st St.

6. The use of non-drought tolerant plants within landscape borders are restricted to flowering bedding plants, turf is not permitted per LUC 3.7.2.2. Revise plan as necessary.

7. The planting plan and layout will include, sizes, and common and scientific name(s) of new and existing vegetation per DS 2-07.2.2.A.1.e

8. Indicate square footage of all landscaped areas and calculation of the percentage of vegetative coverage on the landscape plan per DS 2-07.2.2.2.g.

9. Add note to plan: All disturbed areas including adjacent right of ways shall be treated with ground cover such as decomposed granite to help reduce dust pollution per LUC 3.7.2.7.

10. Include irrigation design and layout per DS 2-06.5.4.A&B

11. Submit NPPO plan or application for exception per DS 2-15.0.
