Plan Review for the above referenced structure has been completed. This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide revised plans and calculations, highlighting any changes, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken.

General Requirements

1. All corrections and revisions shall be made on the original tracings and two new sets of prints or (1) sepia and (1) blue line shall be returned.
2. Pen or pencil corrections on final prints will not be acceptable. To avoid delays ensure that corrections have been made, are complete and have been coordinated on all-applicable details and notes.

Site Plan

1. Show gas line on property.

Floor Plan

1. Size window in bedroom #2 - Egress for this room has been altered. Existing window must meet egress requirements per R310.
2. Show that each water closet is located in a clear space not less than 30" wide and has a clear space in front not less than 21" per figure R307.2.
3. Glass must be Low 'E'. Note this.

Structural Plan

1. 4/S101 - Epoxy requires special Inspection. Submit form or remove note.
2. 8/S101 - Note post is 6" from grade.
3. Detail 2/S201 is called out @ wall where shed roof and pitched roof interface. However, this detail shows a 2x10 rafter over a bearing wall. Provide a detail for this location.
4. 2/S201 and 3/S201, note #6 and Note #4 respectively - Note that double top plate may be a structural beam as done on detail 5/S201.
5. Specify roof type on hip roof.
6. When using 1/2" sheetrock on ceiling with rafters or trusses spaces at 24"o/c, use the sag resistant type per table R702.3.5. Specify.

Plumbing, Mechanical and Electrical Plans

1. New gas line is 1-1/4" at meter and then sizes down to 1" at entrance to house. Is this correct?
2. Verify that existing 4" sewer line under new slab is approved for underslab per UPC sec. 701.
3. Gas appliances shall comply with ARIZONA STATE PLUMBING CODE combustion air requirements or Chapter 17, 2003 IRC. Detail how you will comply. Water heater.
4. Provide arc-fault protection for all bedrooms per E3802.11.

Outdoor Lighting Code

1. Show compliance with City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code (www.ci.tucson.az.us/dsd/Codes___Ordinances/Tucson_Lighting_Code.pdf).
2. Provide cut sheets of chosen lights.
