1. Show that each water closet is located in a clear space not less than 30" wide and has a clear space in front not less than 21" per figure R307.2.

2. Provide 1-hour firewall per R317 between units. Reference table 720.1 (2) # 13-1.1, 2003 IBC for proper 1-hour firewall construction OR justify chosen construction as 1-hour.

3. How will 1-hour rating of separation wall be maintained with plumbing penetrations per R317.3. Detail penetration firestop or reconfigure plumbing.

4. Note on plan compliance with the water conservation requirements. Water closets, 1.6 gallons per flush, sinks and showerheads, 3 gallons per minute.

5. The City of Tucson has adopted the 1994 Uniform Plumbing Code with state amendments (ARIZONA STATE PLUMBING CODE). All plans must reference this code.

6. Note on plans: Mechanical shall comply with 2003 IRC chapters 13 - 24.

7. Provide arc-fault protection for all outlets in bedrooms per E3802.11.

8. Show calculation of attic ventilation area in compliance with R806.2. Note location of all vents needed to comply.

MODEL ENERGY CODE:

2. Provide energy calculations per the 2000 IECC and comply with IRC chapter 11 or 'Rescheck' (www.energycodes.gov/rescheck/).
3. Call out on the plan the "R" values of insulation, as well as the "U" values of the windows and doors in compliance with the energy calculations provided. Windows must be low 'E'.
