This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide revised plans and calculations, highlighting any changes, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. SCOPE OF REVIEW: The scope of this plan review covers architectural, plumbing, mechanical, model energy and electrical. All code references are to the 2003 International Residential Code, 2003 International Energy Conservation Code, and Arizona State amendments to the 2003 Uniform Plumbing Code. All features were checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided. All portions of this project are assumed to meet or will meet other departmental requirements, conditions and concerns before permit approval. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: All corrections and revisions shall be made on original tracings or finished reproducible set. Return this set and a copy along with a set of the first submission. Pen or pencil corrections on final prints will not be acceptable. To avoid delays, ensure that all corrections have been made, are complete, and have been coordinated on all applicable detail and note sheets. FLOOR PLANS: 1. Does the master bath have a window? Correct inconsistency between sheets 2 and 2B. 2. Remove the fireplace note from sheet 3/10 if specifications are not provided. STRUCTURAL PLANS: 1. Locate brace wall panels no more than 25' O.C., Table R602.10.1. 2. Show load path to foundation for all open spans of the load-bearing wall below A01V trusses, sheets 2A & 3A and section A-A on 5/10. ELEVATIONS: 1. Calculate of attic ventilation area using the correct attic area in compliance with R806.2. Note size and location of all vents needed to comply on 4/10. SECTIONS - DETAILS - MISC. NOTES: 1. Will OSB exterior wall sheathing be ½" or 3/8"? Detail #1 on 3/10 and the wall construction note on the right edge of sheet 3 shows ½" OSB. Detail #3 on 3/10, detail #4 on 5/10 and detail #1 on 6/10 shows 3/8" OSB. 2. Note the requirement for underground facility tracer wires per DSD Memo, 10/24/2005.
