| 07/08/2005 | LINDA BUCZYNSKI | ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Approved | T05CM03350 7/7/05 1. Identify a panel and circuit for the new ceiling fans. 2. Provide fault calculations to justify the 10,000K rating of new panels. If existing panels are rated for such, the Engineer may disregard this comment at his own discretion. 3. Provide AFCI protection for any new bedroom branch circuits. NEC 210.12 (B). Give consideration for such on existing circuits. 4. Identify a circuit for the new smoke detectors. 5. Provide a dedicated circuit for the bathroom per NEC 210.11 (C) (3). 6. Could not find Keynote 6 on the Typical Apartment Electrical Plan. 7. Specify that the new countertop receptacles shall be GFCI. NEC 210.8 (A) (6). 8. On the service load calculations, it would appear that only 1/2 of the units are 1016 SF, and the other half 849 SF.This SF has not been multiplied by 3 VA for both service load calculations. 9. For 8 dryers, it is permissable to use a demand factor of 60%, not 47%. NECTable 220.18. 10. 8-DW & DISP at (1200 + 720) = 1920 (5) 8 = 15360 (0.75) = 11,520 VA, not 16,800. NEC 220.17. 10. It appears that 16 DW/DISP would total 23,040VA, not 18000. |
