This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide revised plans and calculations, highlighting any changes, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. General Requirements 1. All corrections and revisions shall be made on the original tracings and two new sets of prints or (1) sepia and (1) blue line shall be returned. 2. Pencil corrections on final prints will not be acceptable. To avoid delays ensure that corrections have been made, are complete and have been coordinated on all-applicable details and notes. Floor Plan 1. Provide landing at exterior laundry room door per R311. Structural Plan 1. 3/A2 - Dimension footing 12" below grade and 6" from sill to grade. 2. 3/A2 - R-21 will not fit in a 2x6 space. Use R-19 or provide specs on R-21. 3. 2/A2 - Epoxy grout? Epoxy or grout, epoxy requires special inspection. 4. 3/A2 - Specify 7" minimum embedment of anchor bolts. 5. Note on the drawings the allowable soil bearing pressure used in the design of the footings, or state that the assumed value of 1500 PSF is being used per table R401.4.1. Plumbing and Electrical Plans 1. Note and specify all piping materials. 2. Clarify the location and access to the sub-panel. MODEL ENERGY CODE: 1. Provide energy calculations per the 2000 IECC and comply with IRC chapter 11 or 'Rescheck' (www.energycodes.gov/rescheck/). 1. Call out on the plan the "R" values of insulation, as well as the "U" values of the windows and doors in compliance with the energy calculations provided. Outdoor Lighting Code 1. Show compliance with City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code (www.ci.tucson.az.us/dsd/Codes___Ordinances/Tucson_Lighting_Code.pdf). 2. Provide cut sheets of chosen lights.
