09/19/2005 | LINDA BUCZYNSKI | ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Approved | TRANSMIT ORIGINAL DRAWINGS WITH NEXT SUBMITTAL. PLEASE CALL AT 791-5550 X1106 OR EMAIL AT Linda.Buczynski@tucsonaz.gov IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS. 1. Eliminate redundant 1/0 Ground in conduit runs between TEP Transformer and Terminal Cabinet, between Terminal Cabinet and CT enclosure, and between CT enclosure and service disconnect enclosure. Size Grounding Electrode Conductor to Grounding Electrode: 1/0. 2. Change the wording "New Trailer" to read "Future Trailer." Otherwise the trailer itself has to be approved by the State Board of Manufactured Housing, and the feeder, disconnect, and grounding electrode system for the new trailer has to be indicated on the plans, along with its inclusion on the site plan. 3. On Sheet E8, please change the wording "NEC 230.3 (E)" to read "NEC 230.2 (E)." 4. Indicate fault current rating for new 480V service equipment. With TEP's AFC of 32,600 A at its secondary, aprox. 225' to the new service, and (2) paralled 500 MCM for a "c" value of 26706, it appears that the ACF at the service is less than 22KA. 5. Please change the conduit size in the run from the CT can to the new service equipment from 1" to 3" for the (4) 350 MCM. |
