IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS.

1. This is an incomplete review. Product information on BP Panels not legible. Need inverter manual, including all technical and listing information, including specification of which model is being used.
2. "BP 3160 is indicated on catalogue cut sheet. BP 3150 is indicated on the connection diagram. Please clarify." THIS COMMENT WAS MADE ON THE FIRST SUBMITTAL. Voltage of panels is indicated as 34.51A on unnumbered sheet and connection diagram, which is inconsistent with the BP 3160.
3. South elevation shows what looks like 20 panels. Unnumbered page has a total of 20. Roof view shows two rows of 16 panels. Trace Connection Diagram shows 2 parallel rows of 10 panels each. All this needs to be clarified and consistent.
4. "Show all boxes, routing and connections in plan view, including how the 4 panels on the garage are connected." THIS COMMENT WAS MADE ON THE FIRST SUBMITTAL.
5. "Provide a Line Diagram which makes it clear all parallel and series connections." THIS COMMENT WAS MADE ON THE FIRST SUBMITTAL.
6. "Volts per row wired in parallel" is stated to be 85V. Trace Connection Diagram indicates 34.5V each, for a 10 panel row. This does not add up." THIS COMMENT WAS MADE ON THE FIRST SUBMITTAL. If 10 panels are in series at 34.5V each, (10) (34.5) = 345, not 85.
7. "Address overcurrent requirements per NEC 690.8 and 690.9." THIS COMMENT WAS MADE ON THE FIRST SUBMITTAL.
8. "Address Disconnecting Means per NEC 690 Part III." THIS COMMENT WAS MADE ON THE FIRST SUBMITTAL.
9. "Add the following note: "Installation shall comply with all requirements of NEC 2002."" THIS COMMENT WAS MADE ON THE FIRST SUBMITTAL.
10. "Specify conductor insulation type." THIS COMMENT WAS MADE ON THE FIRST SUBMITTAL. On Sheet E1 there are references to both THHN and THWN without specification as to where what applies. Note that THWN is only good up to 75°C. Recommend that THHN be specified, because it is 90°C rated.
11. "BP sells an extension cable, composed of USE-2, to allow connection of module cables to the row boxes. Cable and terminations have been assembled in factories under UL approval. Please specify this method of connection." THIS COMMENT WAS MADE ON THE FIRST SUBMITTAL.
12. Sheet E1 makes reference to a panel connection without identification of which connection this applies to. The lettering is barely legible. Please clarify.
13. "Please note that plans and specifications prepared by a registrant shall be issued under his seal. Some of the drawings appear to have been generated by a Registrant, Bill Henry of TEP." THIS COMMENT WAS MADE ON THE FIRST SUBMITTAL. If the connection diagram is to be considered as a part of the submittal, it should not be generated by a Registrant without proper seal.
14. Note that TEP has taken steps to generate model plans for residential photovoltaic systems of certain configurations. It might be helpful to contact them and determine whether any of their plans fit your needs.
15. Clarify all runs on Sheet E1, such that it is clear how 6-#10 are derived.
