IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS.

1. This is an incomplete review. Product information on BP Panels not legible. Need inverter manual, including all technical and listing information.
2. BP 3160 is indicated on catalogue cut sheet. BP 3150 is indicated on the connection diagram. Please clarify.
3. Sun Tie is indicated on Sheet E2. Trace is indicated on Connection Diagram. Please clarify.
4. South elevation shows what looks like 36 panels. Unnumbered page has in writing "8 panels", "8 panels", and "4 panels", for a total of 20. But there are 9 panels by the wording "8 panels." Roof view shows two rows of 10 panels. Trace Connection Diagram shows 2 parallel rows of 10 panels each. All this needs to be clarified and consistent.
5. Show all boxes, routing and connections in plan view, including how the 4 panels on the garage are connected.
6. Provide a Line Diagram which makes it clear all parallel and series connections.
7. "Volts per row wired in parallel" is stated to be 85V. Trace Connection Diagram indicates 34.5V each, for a 10 panel row. This does not add up.
8. See the attached Electrical Permit Requirements and Photovoltaic-Specific Permitting Requirements.
9. Address overcurrent requirements per NEC 690.8 and 690.9.
10. Address Disconnecting Means per NEC 690 Part III.
11. Add the following note: "Installation shall comply with all requirements of NEC 2002."
12. Specify conductor insulation type.
13. BP sells an extension cable, composed of USE-2, to allow connection of module cables to the row boxes. Cable and terminations have been assembled in factories under UL approval. Please specify this method of connection.
14. Please note that plans and specifications prepared by a registrant shall be issued under his seal. Some of the drawings appear to have been generated by a Registrant, Bill Henry of TEP.
15. Please add the DC system Grounding Electrode Conductor, and clearly indicate its' connection to the Grounding Electrode System. Please add such Grounding Electrode Conductor on plans. Suggest that Engineer review NEC 250.64 (C) for continuity requirements. Also review NEC 250.166 before the specification of the minimum size.
