Provide a balance report to the mechanical inspector to demonstrate that the system is functioning as designed. Reference Section 603.1, IMC 2000. 2. The installation of an exhaust fan in the laundry room with no direct source of outside air in the adjoining room is insufficient to provide ventilation conforming to Section 403.3, IMC 2000. Air to be transferred must have been directly introduced into the space from which it is to be transferred and in sufficient amounts to provide adequate ventilation for both spaces (i.e. ventilation air cannot be reused). Reference Section 403.2.2, IMC 2000. 3. The kitchen has an inadequate opening (less than 25 square feet) to the lounge, from which it is to receive its natural ventilation. The opening to the laundry cannot be considered because it has no openings to the outside. Reference Section 1202.4, IBC 2000. 4. Show that the south massage room has a return register per Section 7-137 (3), Ordinance 9991 for the City of Tucson.)
