Meter Bank Calculation, which uses the demand factors in the optional calculation method per NEC 220.32, shall be revised. Per Section 220.32 (C), the Connected Load to which the demand factors of Table 220.32 shall be applied are itemized in (1)-(5) of this Section. Calculations on the plans use the 79A for each individual dwelling unit, which applied a demand factor of its own per NEC 220.30; this is the proper calculation for the feeder to an individual dwelling unit, but 220.30 does not apply to Multi-Family services. See the attached example. 2. Show size of service gutters and grounding electrode conductors. 3. Units 7 & 8 have a furnace according to Sheet E2. No such specification on the Mechanical schedules. Coordinate with Mechanical and clarify. 4. Provide a circuit for the fan coil (indoor) units to the Split System Heat Pumps. 5. Note that, in the load calculations for individual dwelling units, the divisor is 240, not 208. 6. Clarify scope of work on Sheet G1. According to this sheet, both BLDG 2861 AND BLDG 2841 are in the scope of work. |
