1. "Provide for permanent marking to identify each photovoltaic system disconnecting means. Specify the exact wording and nature of such marking on the plans. Reference NEC 690.14 (C) (2)." Both AC and DC disconnects shall have such marking.
2. On Sheet 2 Note 2, add the following per NEC 690.17 "IN THE OPEN POSITION."
3. Specify the marking per NEC 690.53.
4. Fronius manual Page 45 calls for wiring on the DC side to be AWG 10.
5. Add the following note: "Ground photovoltaic system per manufacturer's instructions."
6. Page 3-6 of the Owner's Manual, as posted on the website, states: "Depending upon installation and local codes, fusing…may be required. This fusing is to be provided by the installer. " Since the fused disconnect is noted on the plans as pertaining to the Fronius installation only, this leaves the Photovoltaic Source Circuit without overcurrent protection. Reference NEC 690.8 and 690.9. Please provide this or justify otherwise.
7. The wording "TRICO install" is by the DC disconnect. Don't see the connection to this project.
8. "On the Diagram on Page 2, please add the DC system Grounding Electrode Conductor, and clearly indicate its' connection to the Grounding Electrode System." This comment was made on the first submittal. Please add such Grounding Electrode Conductor on plans. Suggest that Engineer review NEC 250.64 (C) for continuity requirements. Also review NEC 250.166 before the specification of the minimum size.
