06/15/2005 ANDREW CONNOR LANDSCAPE REVIEW Denied 1. Plantings shall reflect the historic period of the subject structure. Landscaping may be reviewed in the context of a required HPZ review; landscaping alone shall not be considered through an HPZ review. Remove Cottonwood (Populus fremontii) from possible historic plantings upon inspection of surrounding area no living species could be identified. Arizona Ash (Fraxinus velutina) is acceptable.

2. Provide wall sections including heights, material(s) and finished grades per DS 2-07.2.2.3. ALL required screening must be provided on the developing property or a joint-use agreement must be provided. Verify if existing wall is located on site or provide appropriate documentation.

3. Provide acceptable documentation, which clearly indicates that the project will not impact Protected Native Plants. Two Native Mesquites (Prosopis velutina) are locate in the southwester corner of property, indicate on landscape plan or on application for exception if trees are to remain in place, transplanted, or removed from site. If applicable provide proper mitigation for trees per DS 2-15.2.0.C
