1. This structure was built prior to 1982 when the Floodplain Ordinance came into effect. The structure is considered a non-conforming structure within a FEMA Flood Hazard Area, Zone AE. If the cost of improvements or repairs is 50% or less of the current market value of the structure it is considered a non-substantial improvement. The value of the structure and a contractor's estimate is required to determine if the improvements are less than 50%. Submit a contractor's estimate of the proposed work, labor and materials and the 2005 Pima County Assessor's Record (value of structure).

1) Provide the engineers seal on the structural sheets.
2) Provide engineering calc`s for the lintel at the overhead door.
3) Provide engineering for the roof members for any equipement on the roof.
4) Provide a phy. Handicapped bathroom. Show all details.
5) Building shall be made accessible to the Phy. Handicapped.
6) Is upper level existing? If so indicate on plans.
7) Specify the uses and occupancy(s) group of the building. It appears like
there is more than one occupancy or use. Clarify!


10/27/05

1) Provide connection details for grab bars to wall.
2) section 303.3 of the 2003 ANSI standards the physically handicapped
specifies that any changes in level greater then ¼" in height but less then
½" shall be beveled.
3) Egress from a room or space shall not pass through adjoining or intervening
rooms. Section 1013.
4) Identify on plans as to which are the partitions and which are the trusses.
5) Ground level floor plan shows a beam, truss. or wall being removed, specify
what it is.
6) Are the spaces above shown as offices existing office spaces? Varify!
7) Specify width of exit door leading to physically handicapped bathroom, and
also exiting out of the building.
8) Are all overhead doors exiting?
