Coordinate the isometric for the water supply and the water piping shown on the plumbing floor plan. 9. Provide upper terminal cleanouts on horizontal drainage pipes exceeding 5 feet in length (horizontal drain lines serving sinks and urinals require cleanouts regardless of length). Reference Section 707.4, UPC 1994. 10. Unless the piping arrangement makes it impractical or there are structural features that preclude running the building drain lines at a uniform slope of ¼" per foot, the minimum acceptable slope within the building is ¼" per foot.
