Summary: Engineering Division has reviewed the resubmittal, and recommends approval of the grading plan. The following conditions will be added to the grading permit:

GRADING PERMIT CONDITIONS:
1) Call for Pre-construction meeting. For a DSD Engineering Inspection, call IVR (740-6970), or schedule with a Customer Service Representative at the Development Services Department, or contact DSD Engineering at 791-5550 extension 2101, or schedule inspections online at: http://www.ci.tucson.az.us/dsd/Online_Services/Online_Permits/online_permits.html
2) Any revision to the actual disturbance area as identified on the grading limits shall be approved by Landscaping and Engineering Inspectors. This includes any areas proposed for construction staging area, or construction materials, or vehicle parking.
3) Any revision to the Grading Plan may require a re-submittal of a revised grading plan for review. Contact DSD Engineering at 791-5550 to discuss changes in grading design.
4) Heavy duty construction fence shall be installed along east side of grading limits.
5) Minimum 2' setback from property line to grading limits shall be maintained.
6) Slopes shall be no steeper than 2:1(H:V).
7) Estimates for cut and fill quantities were received by the registrant by phone 22DEC05: 400yds Cut, 400 yds Fill.
8) All slopes with riprap shall have filter fabric, or as specified by a geotechnical report.
9) If grading construction is expected to last longer than the expiration date of the grading permit, contact DSD to renew/extend the Grading Permit. If Final Grading Inspection has not been completed before the Grading Permit expires, and the permit has not been renewed, additional fees and reviews may be required.
10) A copy of the Grading Plan, Grading Permit, and any Geotechnical Reports shall be kept at the site at all times, until final grading approval.
