GRADING PLAN COMMENTS: 1) Regarding the sewer easement on sheet 3, the City has not received docket and page of the vacation of the 30' Public Utility and Sewer easement as requested at Tentative Plat stage. From discussions with consultant, there is an existing sewer line in this area and therefore grading near or on this easement is not accepted. Clarify intent of excavation, or revise area of borrow pit on this grading plan. 2) Add the following general notes: a) A copy of this borrow plan with grading permit, and geotechnical reports shall be kept at the site at all times, until final grading approval. b) Any revision to this grading plan MAY require a re-submittal of the revised grading plan for review. Contact DSD Engineering at 791-5550 to discuss changes in grading design. c) If grading construction is expected to last longer than the expiration date on the grading permit, contact DSD to renew or extend the grading permit. If the final grading inspection has not been completed before the grading permit expires, and the grading permit has not been renewed, additional fees and reviews may be required. d) Contact Permits and Codes (791-5100) for any right-of-way permit requirements. e) Call to see if a SWPPP inspection and Grading Pre-construction meeting will be required. For a DSD Engineering Inspections, call IVR (740-6970), or schedule with a Customer Service Representative at the Development Services Department, or schedule inspections online at: http://www.ci.tucson.az.us/dsd/Online_Services/Online_Permits/online_permits.html or contact DSD Engineering at 791-5550 extension 2101. 3) On sheet 3, for the existing ingress/egress easement, delete "…to be vacated by separate instrument (dkt__ pg__)" if this is not to be vacated at this time during the grading excavation. 4) Assure any Environmental Services comments are addressed. Submit one copy of the previously approved onsite grading plans, one copy of the approve Tentative Plat, the four copies of the SWPPP, and 4 copies of the revised Borrow Plans.
