Please address all of the comments provided below on a revised grading plan, and submit three (3) sets of revised grading plan(s) with the resubmittal. Refer to Development Standard (DS) 11-01.0 for Excavation and Grading requirements. These may be accessed at the following link: http://www.ci.tucson.az.us/dsd/DevStd1101.pdf 1. Examination of the grading plans indicates differential grading criteria must be met, in accordance with DS 11-01.8.1 A. Please refer to this standard for conformance with these requirements. Permits may not be issued prior to approval by all parties affected, as outlined in this standard. 2. Please assure elevation datum for the FFE and building pad elevations provided is consistent with the existing site elevations/contours, and provide the NGVD 1929 FFE elevation adjacent to the FFE already indicated (to be certified by a Registered Land Surveyor, per Floodplain Development Regulations). 3. Provide proposed finish grade spot elevations at various locations around the proposed pads. 4. Revise General Grading/Paving Note 4 and specify site grading is to comply with City Development Standard 11-01.0 (Excavation and Grading). 5. Please provide soils and geotechnical recommendations (discussed in Grading/Paving Note 16). 6. Show water surface elevations on the site plan or on the grading plan. Delineate the required all-weather access. Indicate that the route must remain unobstructed by fences and landscaping. Additional comments may be necessary upon resubmittal depending on the nature and extent of revisions that occur to the plan.
