Please address all of the comments provided below on a revised grading plan, and submit three (3) sets of revised grading plan(s) with the resubmittal. Refer to Development Standard (DS) 11-01.0 for Excavation and Grading requirements. These may be accessed at the following link: http://www.ci.tucson.az.us/dsd/DevStd1101.pdf 1. Examination of the grading plans indicates differential grading criteria must be met, in accordance with DS 11-01.8.1 A. Please refer to this standard for conformance with these requirements. Permits may not be issued prior to approval by all parties affected, as outlined in this standard. 2. Please assure elevation datum for the FFE and building pad elevations provided is consistent with the existing site elevations/contours, and provide the NGVD 1929 FFE elevation adjacent to the FFE already indicated (to be certified by a Registered Land Surveyor, per Floodplain Development Regulations). 3. Revise the "FFE = 1945.3" in the Building Pad Details to reflect the correct elevation, and revise or omit the note "8:1 fill slope to tie into building pad". 4. The building pad details and section A-A notes ("2:1 fill slope", "5'+/- VAR") do not appear to match elevations and slopes indicated in plan view. Please revise or omit these and provide two (2) north-south, and one east-west cross section(s) for the south building pad; and two (2) east-west, and one north-south cross-section(s) for the north pad. Include detailed slope information and property lines at a minimum, in each section, fully labeled and dimensioned with elevations. 5. Please refer to all setback requirements specified in Development Standard 11-01.9.0, and assure conformance to such is dimensioned on the plans and/or cross-sections. 6. Depict and label limits of grading and specify the area to be disturbed on the plan. 7. Revise General Grading/Paving Note 4 and specify site grading is to comply with City Development Standard 11-01.0 (Excavation and Grading). 8. Provide a project Benchmark with elevation and datum information (ref. Grading/Paving note 14). 9. Please provide soils and geotechnical recommendations (discussed in Grading/Paving Note 16). 10. Please omit or revise Note # 17. 11. Please omit the FFE elevation for the northern building pad - this plan/permit does not include, nor should it imply approval for, construction of the northern home. 12. Revise the Survey Field Book number to reflect an accurate Book number. Additional comments may be necessary upon resubmittal depending on the nature and extent of revisions that occur to the plan.
