Approval is not recommended at this time. Please address the following comments in a response letter and a revised grading plan: 1. Please refer to Section 11.8.1 of the City of Tucson's Development Standards for placement of fill in excess of 2 feet above existing grade in the outer 100 feet of the developing site. The proposed grading for this lot indicates placement of fill in excess of 2' above existing grade for the upper pad, and conformance to this standard must be demonstrated prior to grading permit approval. Please assure all necessary documentation, written permission and any mitigation plan information is provided with a resubmittal. 2. Revise the sheet number identified in call-outs A, B and C to refer the reader to sheet G2. 3. Provide a note stating that a separate retaining wall permits will be required, wherever depicted or noted on the plan. 4. Please provide a copy of a standard soils/geotechnical recommendations, specifically addressing all setback, grading, slope, interceptor swale and terracing recommendations, at a minimum. Resubmittal shall include 3 copies of a revised grading plan addressing the comments provided above, and a copy of the geotechnical report/recommendations.
