Development Services Department Engineering Division recommends approval of the Grading Plan with conditions. The following conditions will be added to the grading permit. Address items 1 and 4 prior to picking up grading permit. GRADING PLAN CONDITIONS TO GRADING PERMIT: 1) The reseed bond in the amount of $8,494.20 will be required at time of grading permit issuance and is based on the total disturbance area in square feet at $0.05 per squarefoot. 2) Grading shall conform to the geotechnical recommendations from Western Technologies, dated 3-23-04, and associated addenda. 3) Post Grading construction inspection as well as additional percolation testing is required. 4) The Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) shall be updated as needed and kept on site during grading. Provide a copy to the City of Tucson of the Notice of Intent that was sent to the State. A copy shall be available at the grading construction site. All NOI's must be signed and certified. 5) Call for SWPPP inspection and Pre-construction meetings. For a DSD Engineering Inspections, call IVR (740-6970), or schedule with a Customer Service Representative at the Development Services Department, or schedule inspections online at: http://www.ci.tucson.az.us/dsd/Online_Services/Online_Permits/online_permits.html or contact DSD Engineering at 791-5550 extension 2101. 6) Any revision to the Grading Plan MAY require a re-submittal of the revised grading plan for review. Contact DSD Engineering at 791-5550 to discuss changes in grading design. 7) If grading construction is expected to last longer than the expiration date on the grading permit, contact DSD to renew or extend the grading permit. If the final grading inspection has not been completed before the grading permit expires, and the grading permit has not been renewed, additional fees and reviews may be required. 8) As-builts required, with completion documentation from project engineer at time of final grading inspection. 9) Contact Permits and Codes (791-5100) for any right-of-way permit and requirements. 10) All work shall conform to the approved Grading and Drainage plans for NCR of Tucson, activity number T05BU00303, by DOWL Engineers (approved 23MAY05), and any associated geotechnical engineering and drainage reports, which are made part of this permit. 11) This permit is issued for grading construction only for Block A and drainage improvements (splash pad erosion protection) at north outlet as shown on the approved plans. Issuance of a Temporary Construction Easement / Right of Entry is required for work within the Tucson Water site to construct this splash pad erosion protection. A copy of the recorded drainage maintenance easement or maintenance agreement with Tucson Water shall be submitted prior to final drainage approval. Unless otherwise determined or agreed to by Tucson Water, the splash pad erosion protection at north outlet shall be maintained by NCR.
