Thrasher Ave. REVIEWER: Doug Williams DATE: 2 April 2004 ACTIVITY NUMBERS: T04OT00536/T04MH00027 T14S, R13E, Section 28 Resubmittal Required: Revised Site Plan SUMMARY: Engineering Division has reviewed the subject plan and drainage submittal. Although items were found to be inaccurate in the drainage submittal, it is acceptable for purposes of permit issuance. Additional analysis may be necessary in order to address comments 1 and 2 below, however. Approval of the site plan is not recommended at this time. The following comments must be addressed prior to resubmittal: 1. Depict the limits of the 100-year (regulatory) floodplain. 2. Provide recommended erosion protection measures for the culvert and measures for prevention of erosion/washout of the proposed gravel to be placed within the regulatory floodplain. 3. Clearly label all grading limits on the plan. 4. Provide accurate owner information where indicated on the plan. 5. Provide a note that site grading shall be in conformance with the 2000 International Building Code (IBC) - local amendment (Chapter 36 - Excavation and Grading). For further information, visit http://www.ci.tucson.az.us/dsd/2000_IBC_Amendments.pdf 6. Depict all utility locations clearly labeled (existing or proposed). 7. Provide estimated cut and fill quantities. 8. Revise General Notes #'s 1, 2, 3, 6 & 7 (see redlines on plan). 9. Please provide a copy the geotechnical investigation referenced in General Note # 3 with the resubmittal. 10. Provide recommended culvert inlet and outlet elevations and top of cover elevation. 11. Please darken contour lines and elevations for legibility. ***A grading permit may be required for this project - please refer to grading permit requirements outlined in the document referenced in item 5, above.
